Smart Instruments (M) Sdn Bhd, a trusted name in electrical testing and measurement solutions, recently delivered a focused hands-on training program for the technical staff and lecturers of Universiti Kuala Lumpur British Malaysian Institute (UniKL BMI). The one-day session aimed to enhance participants’ practical understanding of electrical system monitoring using the Power and Energy Meter Data Logger – Chauvin Arnoux PEL 103.

Training Highlights

The specialized training program was held on 25 June 2025, from 9:00 AM  to 2:00 PM, at UniKL British Malaysian Institute, Gombak.

It focused on the operation and data interpretation of the Chauvin Arnoux PEL 103 Power and Energy Meter Data Logger, covering key areas such as:

• Power and energy consumption analysis

• Three-phase electrical system monitoring

• Data logging configuration and retrieval

• Interpreting recorded energy profiles for system optimization

• Troubleshooting power quality issues

Participants engaged in live demonstration, real-time equipment handling and hands-on application with expert guidance.

• Mr. Luqman Farhan, Sales Engineer

Together, they facilitated the technical knowledge transfer to 12 participants, comprising UniKL BMI staff and academic personnel.
